What We Believe and Teach
As you look throughout this website, you will notice that we reference the Bible quite a bit. We do that without apology. The Christians who make up the Nashua church do not believe that the Bible is just another book, but that it is, in fact, the very word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). As such, our desire is to be true followers of God's word. We use the Bible as our sole guide to pleasing Him. Our worship is Bible-driven. And we place an emphasis on Biblical education for every member. From young to old, everybody is continually learning, growing, maturing, and striving to understand the Bible in a more complete way.
If you live in or near the Kansas City area, we would welcome the chance to study the Bible with you in person, at a time/place that is mutually convenient. The psalmist declared, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path" (Psalms 119:105). The importance of reading, studying, and meditating upon God's word cannot be overemphasized. The Bible contains the wisdom and knowledge we need from God to live lives that are pleasing to Him (Psalms 119:160; Romans 1:16-17; James 1:21; John 8:31-32).
